Hey guys! Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and I thought I would share with you my customized Valentine’s Day chocolate bar wrappers. These were such a labor of love. It took me completely out of my comfort zone and forced me to create.
Because I am such a cornball, my first instinct was to somehow incorporate cheesy pick-up lines into this project. These are my top three :
Be mine because your so fine.
Did it hurt when you got shot by cupid’s arrow?
Excuse me, did you just dropped something… My Jaw
I know they’re pretty bad, but I’m sure if someone gave you these a smile or chuckle would come across your face. That was my goal, to spread a little joy. I created three wrappers that you can download and give to your loved one. Each paper wrapper is 5x 7.5in and can be easily printed using a home printer. As for paper, I suggest using Southworth 24lb Linen fine paper. The texture is beautiful and adds a little depth to the design once printed out. But to be completely honest regular printer paper works just as well. In all, this project should take you no more than 30 minutes, depending on how many chocolate bars you decide to wrap.
If you’re interested in process of how I created these paper wrappers check out my video below. This is my first Youtube video. Yay! Once again, I am trying to take more intentional steps to not only being more creative but becoming a better designer. I hope this inspires you to create. I would love to know your thoughts in the comments below.
