I am a sucker for a good book. I often find myself browsing the isles of Barnes & Noble at least once a month for books . Even though Pinterest acts as a constant stream of inspiration for many of my creative projects, there is just something invigorating about flipping through pages. Homebody: A Guide to Creating Spaces You Never Want to Leave
This book is a gold mine. Joanna clearly explains various types of interior design styles and gives examples of how to achieve them. I find this extremely helpful not just for interior decorating but for “style” searching. Sometimes it can be hard putting words to the design ideas that are floating around in your head. In my opinion, this book helps clear that fog and can help you articulate your style. Shop Here

A Big Important Art Book (Now with Women): Profiles of Unstoppable Female Artists–and Projects to Help You Become One
I am always looking for interesting artist. From illustrators to painters, hearing about their process, their history, or how they develop ideas is eye-opening. Thisbook basically is that. It acts as an archive of very talented women artists throughout the years. A plus is that along the way the author, Danielle Krysa, provides creative projects. Shop Here

Living with Pattern: Color, Texture, and Print at Home
One thing that I have always had difficulty with is pairing prints and patterns. This book gives great insight on how to effectively pair prints,patterns, and colors within a home. But honestly, I believe the tips and tricks given in this book can even translate to all aspects of design, Also I found that all the abstract prints that were shown throughout the book were awe inspiring.
